Agreement
By using BulkTranscripts, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
What the service does
BulkTranscripts formats caption tracks associated with publicly accessible YouTube videos. It does not provide video or audio downloads, bypass account access, or promise that captions exist or are accurate. BulkTranscripts is independent and is not affiliated with YouTube or Google.
Public videos only
You may submit only public content you are lawfully permitted to access. Do not use the service to evade access controls, collect private or members-only material, harass people, infringe rights, or break applicable law.
Your responsibility
Copyright and other rights in a video's words remain with their respective owners. A generated transcript does not include a license. You are solely responsible for determining whether your copying, analysis, publication, training, redistribution, or other use is permitted, including obtaining consent or providing attribution where required.
Reasonable use and limits
We may enforce job, request, cache-miss, and traffic limits; block automated abuse; pause new fetches when an operating budget is reached; and change those limits to keep the free service available. Do not circumvent technical restrictions, resell access to the free endpoint, or use it as an unapproved API.
Availability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” YouTube can change caption access without notice. Jobs may be delayed, incomplete, or unavailable. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, completeness, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or long-term retention of a job link.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BulkTranscripts and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses, or for losses caused by your use of generated files, missing or inaccurate captions, or service interruption.
Enforcement and changes
We may suspend access, remove cached material, or terminate jobs when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, or service protection. Updated terms take effect when posted here; continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
