Copyright notice
To help us locate and evaluate the material, include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work, or a representative list if one notice covers multiple works.
- The YouTube video URL, video ID, and any BulkTranscripts job or transcript URL that identifies the material.
- Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and you are authorized to act for the owner.
What happens next
We may disable access, remove cached caption material, stop future processing for the identified video, request clarification, or reject notices that do not identify actionable material. We may share a notice with the person whose use is affected or with a transparency service where legally permitted.
Counter-notice
If material was removed because of a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice identifying the removed material, explaining your good-faith basis, consenting to the appropriate legal jurisdiction, accepting service of process, and including your signature and contact information. We may restore material when the law permits.
Other takedown requests
Creators or authorized representatives may use the same address for non-DMCA requests concerning privacy, safety, or unwanted caching. State the relationship to the video and include its URL. We review these requests on their merits even when copyright law does not require removal.
